Overview

Chulu West Peak is very famous trekking climbing peak in Annapurna region and  situated in a small valley and lay north of Manang. In fact, there are three  Chulu Peaks- East , West and east far . Among them, Chulu West (6419m.) is more elevated one. The Chulu West Peak is an exciting peak mountaineering option for those trekkers who would love to go to experience adventure in the Annapurna Region. While mountaineering the peak, we will be rewarded by splendid views of peaks like Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri, Manasalu, Gangapurna, Thorong  Peak  and other massive peaks. Also, climbing the Chulu West Peak requires a good physical condition and a high level of energy. Chulu West peak is one of the parts of the Manang Himal, which is quite specifically included in the bigger Damodar Himal. In the north-to-south way we can observe the pouring of rivers- Nar Khola  and Phu Khola. To the south the track is bordered by the Marsyangdi Khola and the Mesokanta La.

Chulu west peak tour begins from Beshi Sahar  before after driving for 5-6 hours from Kathmandu and from Beshi Sahar the way goes up slowly to Manang valley, one of the highest valleys in the world located at an elevation of 5000m. Trip Itinerary

On your arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative of Amazing Nepal Journey at Kathmandu International Airport with a display board at the arrival gate. You will be then taken to the hotel where you can either relax in the afternoon or hang around. You will be staying in a hotel for overnight


You today have a final preparations and short briefing for the trek and climb or sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.

From Kathmandu, today, you will drive to Pokhara highway all the way to reach Besisahar. It will take about 6 hours to get there. Besisahar is the headquarters of Lamjung district.Further more drive to Chame with the best view of the flora and faun along the Marsyang Di River. Overnight in Chame at Lodge Include meal:D/B

After breakfast head to Pisang from Chame today viewing the splendid Lamjung Himal. We need to cross the longest suspension bridge over Marsyangdi River. After walking for quite a few hours passing the agricultural area, we can arrive at to Taleku at the elevation of 2775m. Ongoing further, we walk through the thick forested area viewing some stunning view of gigantic peaks and then ultimately reach at Pisang (3300m.). Overnight in Pisang at Lodge Including meal: D/L

You have two options to reach Manang from Pisang. However, recommend take upper the route via upper Pisang to Geru which is magnificent. And you can see stunning mountains in front of you. Overnight at Manang at Lodge Including meal: D/L


On this day you can rest for acclimatization in Manang, You can visit around Manang specially the nearer monastery at Manang. Or visit to Gangapurna Glacier. Overnight in Manang at Lodge. Including meal: D/L

From Manang (3500m.), You carry on trekking to the Leder. You can see wonderful view of tall peaks while trekking. You trek around 4-5 hours today to arrive at Ledar which is situated at the height of 4200m. You can see the wonderful view of Annapurna Himalayasand Chulu west peak inform of you outstanding. Overnight in Lodge in Ledar. Including meal : D/L

The Chulu base camp is located at the height of 4900m. From Ledar to Base camp around 4-5hrs. the trail is completely climb up hill with best view of the amazing views. Overnight at tented camp in Chulu West Base Camp. Included meal: L/D/B

Today You have another rest day at Chulu West Base Camp for proper acclimatization. You will stay overnight at tented camp in Chulu West Base Camp. Included meal: L/D/B

You today will continue ascending to Camp 1. You are now trekking at the height of approximately 5100m. Here, you can amuse youselves with the stunning peak view from the top. You will spend the night at the camp1 after walking for around 4 -5 hours.Overnight at camp 1 in tent .Include meal: D/L/B


It takes around 9 -10 hours to reach our destinations. You have to begin the summit climbing early in the morning. Here you can abundantly enjoy the glorious view all the way through the horizon with towering mountains. Then, reach at the top of the summit of Chulu West (6419m.). Then, return back to the Base Camp to stay overnight in tent. Including meal: D/B

You move down t o Leder, You can observe magnificent vista of Annapurna all along with more than a few mountains. You have to trek for about 5 to 6 hours downhill. You can see the meadow land where the local people let their yaks graze. Then, you move towards Thorung Phedi which is located at an altitude of 4450m. You will walk for 3-4 hours to reach Thorung High Camp. Overnight at T . Including meal: D/B


After breakfast you move to slowly high camp with full of enjoying and relaxing walking after Peak climbing. The way is quite easy until Base camp then entirely climbs up hill to High camp. This night is full of trekkers at the lodge and mostly people waiting for next hard days but after summit the peak then Thorong pass (5416m) easy moderate for you. Overnight in High Camp at Lodge. Including meal: D/B


This day quite early we start because a good view appearing from the pass and before the roll of heavy wind .After passing the well-known pass at Thorung la pass(5416m), we straightly walk forward to Muktinath. This is one of the most noteworthy holy sites for Hindus. Sanctified water flows from the 108 taps nearby the Vishnu temple. Muktinath is also home to many tribal Tibetans and Buddhists, who visit the temple. You can also see fire eternally burning by natural gas underground. Overnight at Lodge in Muktinath. Include meal: D/B

It takes around 5 hours to reach Jomsom (2720m.) from Muktinath (3800m.). You start the trek moving down the spectacular Kali Gandaki Valley. After passing via Jharkot and Khingar settlements with classic Tibetan art and architecture, you tag on path down to Kagbeni, a prehistoric village renowned for Tibetan art. Now your track passes all the way through the shore of Kali Gandaki and come across the Eklebhatti. Jomsom, headquarter of Mustang is divided into two settlements and Kali Gandaki river passes between these two settlements. In Jomsom, you can enjoy the splendid views of Nilgiri, Tilicho peak. Really strong wind blowing over the way on the valley. Overnight at Loge in Jomsom including meal: D/B

Early morning will fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, taking around 20 minutes. The major attractions of Pokhara are natural as well as cultural sites such as lakes, temples of Hindus and Buddhist, caves, mountain views. You can view the north region across the hill, Phewa lake to the snow peaks of the Annapurna, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri ranges. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara. Including meal: B

Around 8 am leaving behind the wonderful countryside, we travel for 6 hours we return back to Kathmandu. We can either take a vehicle for a drive or fly back from the beautiful city Pokhara. On arrival at Kathmandu you will be shifted to the hotel. You can then relax for rest of the day and stay overnight at hotel. Including meal: B/D


This is your last day of your Chulu West Trekking Peak (6419m.). Our airport representative will drop you to the airport before 3 hours and you will depart from Nepal
