Larke Peak (6010 m/19,713ft) is very nice and a newly opened peak climbing lies in the Manaslu region of Gorkha, Nepal. Gorkha is a small independent state from where the unification of modern Nepal began, also it is the starting point of the trek. In 1992, Manaslu region has been opened to western visitors there; which offer an unsurpassed beauty, a combination of rich culture heritage, and biological diversity. Larke peak lies in mid-northern Tibet Border of Nepal are a challenging alpine experience in the Himalayas. The Larke peak has been issued to climb since 2002 and you need a special permit for Larke Peak Climbing and Manasalu Trekking, and to enter the mythical universe of living Tibetan traditions.
Manaslu means “The spirit-mountain” in the regional language, referring to the benevolent and strong deity, which dwells within. Trekking to Manaslu and Larkya peak climbing is one of the most delightful adventures. The trek drive to Soltikhola by Jeep from Kathmandu follows from Budi Gandaki River valley and ending in Dharpani then drive to Beshisahar - Kathmandu. After Larke peak climbing the trekking route goes through Manaslu and joint famous Annapurna circuit area. If you want to continue the trek you can also continue your trek to the famous trek of Annapurna Circuit Treks in Nepal. Then you trek down to Bimthang, then ending the treks in Dharapani then takes jeep to Besisahar. Finally, you can drive a local bus or private vehicle to Kathmandu.
