Equipment list as below:
I will provide you with a comprehensive list of necessities. The clothing you bring will need to allow for both the warmth of the days and the chill of the nights. While trekking during the day at lower altitudes, lightweight trekking trousers and T-shirts are recommended. It's always a good idea to carry a waterproof jacket and some warmer clothing with you though as mountain weather is notoriously unpredictable. For the cold nights, thermal underwear, a warm fleece jacket and even a down jacket will help to keep you warm.
During the day you will carry your camera, jacket, and water bottle in a rucksack. The rest of your equipment, including your sleeping bag, will be carried by porter.
It is possible to wash clothes on trek, Some hotel provide a laundry service during the trip and there are plenty of washing opportunities along the trail. Be careful to avoid contaminating the local water supply though. It is quite normal to see trekkers with their washing drying on the top of their rucksacks. Most evenings get a bit cold so you might not fancy washing your smalls in near freezing water and waking up to them stiff as a board in the morning. For general idea of list as as below:
1: Dufflebag:
Duffle fbag or kit bag to carry to gear while trekking around 40 -70 liters. If water prove available would be much better it is quite constable so if you have normal also ok you can buy plastic in KTM and cover it. It will carry by porter
2: Daypack:
This is a small rucksack to carry personal requirement for the day e.g. toilet items, camera, film towel, soap, a boot etc.
3: Walking Boots:
For a comfortable trek you need comfortable feet. Good boots have good ankle support, plenty of toe room for long descents, a stiff sole to lessen twisting torsion, and are light because with every step you lift your boot up. Boots must be lightly worn in before trekking and this should include some steep hills to show up trouble spots. Waterproof will be perfect.
4:Socks:
You will bring up two kinds of better thick and woolens Socks. In the low country your feet will be warm or even hot while walking so quality cotton mix sports socks are best. 3 to 4 pairs are enough. Thick trekking socks are better for higher up and cool evenings, four pairs. I will suggest wearing two pair of socks, since it is my experience that this is the best way to avoid blisters.
5: Camp shoes:
At the end of the day your feet needs some air, so bring some sandals or running shoes.
6:Fleece top:
Most trekkers consider this essential, but alternatives are a thick thermal top or a light down jacket.
7:Down jacket :
This is something you don’t want to miss on those cool evenings. If you don't already have a down jacket they can easily be rented in Kathmandu .
8:Wind proof jacket
Good thermals are one of the secrets to cold weather trekking comfort. Expedition-weight thermals are the most versatile and can be worn as your high altitude trekking top.
9:Day wear shirt:
T-shirts are popular but a cotton shirt or mixed yarn travel shirt is more useful. The collar protects the back of your neck and the sleeves can be rolled up or down. Take 3-4 so you can swap damp for dry.
10:Trekking pants:
2 pair will enough You will live in these. Light material, will be better. Cotton cheapies in the local fashion can buy in Kathmandu.
11:Wind pants
If your trekking pants are reasonably windproof then special wind pants are not needed. you do bring a pair, non-waterproof is quite OK.
12:Underwear :
This is bringing 4 to 5 pairs. Normal quantity is ok or your choice.
13: Sunglasses:
Suitable for snow and sun. Contact lens wearers report very few problems except cleaning them in the conditions.
14:Gloves:
These don't need to be fancy, but wind prove and comfortable will be much better/ water proof
